Remembering the Lives Lost in Lebanon

Oct. 23 marked the 25th anniversary of the tragic bombing that killed 241 Marines, sailors, and soldiers in Beirut, Lebanon, Oct. 25, 1983.
The U.S. Naval Institute joined servicemembers across the globe commemorating the mission of peace on which those Marines and others embarked — and recalling their selfless sacrifice.
