Horizon Software International, a global leader in technology and food service operations, announces a partnership with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) to offer the MealpayPlus program internationally. MealpayPlus is an online prepayment system that offers parents a safe, easy and convenient way to prepay for their student’s school meals. MealpayPlus is now live and available through the AAFES in Wiesbaden, Germany and Yongsan, South Korea, with plans to expand availability to additional international bases.

“Horizon Software is the first company to offer this type of service internationally,” said Tina Bennett, Director of MealpayPlus for Horizon Software International. “We are excited to partner with AAFES so that military parents can begin benefiting from the system. Not only will parents appreciate the convenience of MealpayPlus, but they can now be involved in their student’s school meal choices to ensure they are making healthy food decisions.”

Parents can log onto their student’s account any time at www.MealpayPlus.com and view what their student has purchased on a specific day. The software allows parents to view their student’s balance at any time, as well as to check payment history. In addition, parents can choose to have email confirmations of payments and low balance reminders sent, and payments can be made quickly and easily using a credit card or check online or via telephone. Optional Wallet and Auto-Replenish features enable parents to set a low balance amount that will automatically replenish their student’s account when it drops to a specified balance, if they choose.
