Welcome Monique, MOAA Dep Dir of Spouse Programs

MOAA is pleased to welcome Monique Rizer as the deputy director of spouse programs and author of the newly titled MOAA Spouse blog, “Making it in the MilLife.”
Monique comes to MOAA with experience as a professional writer, marketer and award-winning family support volunteer. She is an Army Reserve spouse, vice president of the PTA board at her children’s elementary school, and a proud alum of the Gates Millennium Scholarship Program, (a program of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.) In addition to dozens of publications, including GI Jobs and Military Spouse Magazine, her work has also appeared in two writing textbooks (Bedford/St.Martin’s) and the Chronicle of Higher Education.
MOAA is so lucky to have her on board!
