Coway Airmega 400 vs 400s: What’s the difference?
As you can see from the table above, the only difference between the Coway Airmega 400 and newer model 400s is the ability to control the air purifier with Coway app via WiFi connection. In addition, the air purifier can be linked to Alexa and controlled from there.
Everything else, including filter, features, design and general performance are the same both on the Coway Airmega 400 and 400s air purifiers.
Which one to Buy?
If you a fan of having an air purifier that can be controlled via an app, then the Coway Airmega 400s is the best choice. The Coway 400 retails at $649 whilst the 400s is available at $749, so it’s 100$ for the app support. However, the Airmega 400s is often on sale, so you might spend only 40 or 50 bucks more to have an app support, which is way more reasonable.
In other cases, I recommend buying the Coway Airmega 400.
