Ionic air purifiers are a great way to get fresh, clean air in your home. However, many people have heard that they can also zap bugs. This is not true; ionic air purifiers cannot zap bugs.
Bugs will always be attracted to light and heat, so the best thing you can do to prevent them from coming into your house is turn off any lights or lamps outdoors and make sure all of your windows and doors are closed tightly at night!
If an air purifiers sounds like it zapped a bug, it was probably just the bug getting caught in a fan and being sucked up into it. It can cause your air purifier to brake, so contact customer service ASAP!
Please be aware that if you do have bugs inside your home, an ionic air purifier will not get rid of them. You need to find where they are coming from so you may want to contact a professional pest control service for assistance!
